Overview

This exciting excursion offers a unique blend of Jakarta’s vibrant modern life and rich history. We’ll begin by driving through the heart of the city, passing iconic landmarks such as the Welcoming Statue and Hotel Indonesia, before exploring the bustling China Town area. Stroll through the lively market streets, including the wet market, and visit the Chinese Temple and Fatahillah Square, where we’ll also explore one of the historical museums housed in a European-era building.

The tour begins with a pick-up service, followed by a scenic drive around Merdeka Square, where we’ll see the Welcoming Statue and Hotel Indonesia, the city’s "zero point." We’ll make a brief photo stop at the Cathedral Church and the Istiqlal Grand Mosque, which are uniquely located side by side. Afterward, we’ll continue past the Presidential Palace and visit the National Monument (including the diorama room).

Next, we’ll head to Jakarta’s historic China Town, where we’ll take a walking tour of the oldest China Town in Indonesia. Highlights include a visit to the Golden Wisdom Taoist Temple, which dates back to the 1650s. Our walk continues until we reach the heart of Fatahillah Square, where we’ll visit a historical building now home to the Museum of Bank Indonesia. Afterward, we’ll return to the meeting point to conclude the excursion.
