Overview

In the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel and depart for Cunca Wulang Canyon, located 30 km east of Labuan Bajo. This stunning destination, nestled within a tropical rainforest, is one of Flores' most captivating spots for outdoor activities. You’ll be greeted by impressive waterfalls cascading into fresh-water pools, followed by smaller waterfalls and rivers a few kilometers downstream.

The area offers excellent opportunities for both hiking and swimming. The moderate hike to Cunca Wulang from Wersawe Village takes you through scenic paddy fields at various stages of planting and harvesting. Along the way, you'll also pass by vanilla, coffee, candlenut, and cacao plants. The final, steeper section of the hike leads through a lush tropical rainforest.

Lunch will either be a packed lunch on-site or enjoyed at a local restaurant, depending on your preference. On the way back to Labuan Bajo, we’ll stop at the village of Melo, where you'll experience the Whip Dance (Tari Caci), a traditional performance famous among the Manggarai people of West Flores. In the afternoon, you’ll return to Labuan Bajo and be dropped off at your hotel.
