Overview

In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and head to the village of Melo, where you’ll experience the traditional Whip Dance (Tari Caci), a cultural performance famous among the Manggarai people of West Flores. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with warm smiles and a traditional welcome ritual by the local community. The performance lasts about 2 hours, offering you a unique insight into the local culture and traditions.

After the performance, we’ll drive back to Labuan Bajo. On the way back, we’ll stop at Rumah Tenun to observe the intricate process of ikat weaving, a traditional technique used by the local people. Then, we’ll visit Batu Cermin Cave, located within an impressive rock formation near Labuan Bajo. Inside the cave, rays of light shine through a hole in the rock, creating a spectacular display of reflected sunlight against the cave's smooth, mirror-like surfaces. This natural phenomenon gives the cave its name, Batu Cermin, meaning "Mirror Rock" in Indonesian.

Next, we’ll visit the local market and stop at the panorama point for a stunning view of the surrounding area. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to Labuan Bajo and drop you off at your hotel.
